Bally was founded in 1851 in Schönenwerd, Switzerland by Carl Franz Bally. Starting in 1916 the lines expand, up to include shoes for every occasion, including military footwear during war periods. Bally’s collections are enriched to include bags, other leather accessories and ready-to-wear. Bally’s technological innovation in the 1960s produced a range of new materials, including the rubber components of the boots worn by Neil Armstrong during man’s first lunar walk.
