Everything starts in 1955 when the post-War Italian country is under reconstruction and Giovanni Calmonte has the intuition to valorize the growing Made in Italy textile market, which could have an important development starting from that moment. Then Danilo Calmonte will build an extremely modern factory in the heart of Bassano del Grappa, company headquarter still today. In 2004 Stefano and Christian Calmonte, Giovanni’s nephews, create a new and creative brand which project the factory towards international markets. The research is made by thin fit, attentions to details and elegance: a new sophisticated men’s vanity. The starting point of the experience is certainly the fabrics experimentation and its choice always depends on touch peculiarity, brightness and yarn quality.
