Salomon
The Salomon company was founded in 1947 in Annecy, in the French Alps. In the years to follow they immediately brought major innovations to the world of skiing, such as quick release heel bindings. In 1992 Salomon ventured into summer sports with the launch of trekking shoes, from then on they developed more and more into outdoor sports that were not purely winter sports and in the early years of the new millennium they launched the first trail running shoe.
